Byline: John Leusch Daily Herald Sports Writer About 10 years ago, Prospect senior Kelly Cummings and her sister Meghan would head to Loyola University to watch their older sister Kim play softball for the Division I program in Chicago. "Our mom (Joan, who played basketball at DePaul) used to take us to all her games," Kelly said.
"Megan and I would chase foul balls and play catch. We always had a good time when we went to watch Kim's games." Joan and her husband Tom now have a second Division I softball player in their family, but they'll have to venture a lot farther to watch their current softball standout.
