Byline: Amie Shak Daily Herald Staff Writer On Sunday, school officials opened their doors to students and community members grieving the loss of two teenage girls killed in a car accident the day before. Jenna Gleixner, 16, of Crystal Lake, was remembered as a popular athlete who always wore a smile.
Sarah Kelly, 17, of Johnsburg, was a top student who was active in extracurricular activities. Gleixner and Kelly were killed after a crash between the Honda they were riding in and a conversion van Saturday near Volo, said Lake County Coroner Dr. Richard Keller.
