Longtime owners reopen Riv: After a month of work, Andrea and Bobby Tsambarlis officially reopened the Riv in downtown Arlington Heights this week. A year ago, the Tsambarlises turned over their business to former customers Shelly Andre, Brian Kelly and Barbara Zeller but still retained ownership of the building.
The three renamed the restaurant Augie's Riv, after Andre's dog, and kept most of the menu and decor the same. However, Augie's Riv closed Nov. 1, and the Tsambarlises decided to return to the restaurant business. The couple first ran the original Riviera Restaurant at 19 N.
