John W. Wardell of Palatine John W. Wardell, previously of Barrington, died Monday, April 2, 2007, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. John faced his illness as he faced earlier adversities and challenges, without bitterness or self pity, but with honor, humor, strength and abiding gratitude for what life had brought him.
He loved his four children, Amy, Doug, Laurie and Michael unconditionally and will truly be missed by them. His greatest pleasures included a home- cooked meal, cross country skiing, helping his clients unwind difficult legal problems, golfing, fishing and telling a good story.
