That's why a sequence in the middle of the first quarter of Sunday's game between the Rush and the Los Angeles Avengers was so significant.

The Avengers had first-and-goal on the 2-yard line and the chance to get on the scoreboard first. Four running plays later, the Allstate Arena crowd was going crazy after watching the Avengers turn the ball over on downs. The Rush went on to secure a 66-31 victory.
