Walter F. Trachsel of Mouns Prospect The funeral service for Walter F. Trachsel, 70, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mount Prospect. Interment will be in Windridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W.

Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the church. Born Jan. 24, 1937, in Janesville, Wis., he died Saturday, June 23, 2007. Walter was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in civil engineering. He retired from Parsons Brinckerhoff.
