History museum hosts first-ever quilt show.(Neighbor)(Batavia)

Byline: Sammi King A quilt show is a lot like an art gallery. Remnants of fabrics sewn together create the art that tells a story or beautifies a space. The quilter is the artist who uses needle and thread to turn simple fabrics into a tapestry of art to be studied and admired. The Batavia Depot Museum and The Fine Line Creative Arts Center will be sponsoring Batavia's first Quilt and Textile Show, "Threads From The Past to Present" July 13-15 at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N.
