John P. "Jack" Sauter Sr. of Streamwood Prayers for John P. "Jack" Sauter Sr., 92, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg, proceeding to St. John the Evangelist Church, for a Mass at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Mr. Sauter was in the 928th Signal Battalion in World War II in the Army, attached to the 5th Air Force. Many of Jack's hobbies included woodworking, gardening, fishing, and a volunteer as an Indian Guide Chief of the YMCA. He was most proud of his work as a traveling salesman at Wolverine Worldwide for 15 years. He was the beloved husband of...
