Adkins ladkins@@dailyherald.com South Elgin will soon be offering a taste of Little Italy, complete with fresh cannoli, hand-stretched mozzarella cheese and wine imported from the country that's shaped like a boot. Caputo's Fresh Markets, which offers those foods and many more, on Wednesday announced plans to open a store in South Elgin, said Robertino Presta, the company's vice president.
The Addison-based company, not to be confused with the Elgin Fresh Market, plans to open within the next six months its sixth store, at 622 S. Randall Road.
