Floyd F. Radde of Elgin Visitation for Floyd F. Radde, 73, will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Services will be private. Born Dec. 6, 1933, in Elgin, he passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Radde graduated from Elgin High School in 1951.

He served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957. In 1953, Floyd married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis. He was a pilot who got his license in Tucson, Ariz., in 1956, and started his career in flying as a flight instructor and continued until his retirement as a captain for Ozark Airlines in 1978.
