Alexandra Martin and Sean Merinar teed off at the Ahlgrims Aces 9 hole miniature golf course recently at Ahlgrims Funeral Parlor in Palatine for their Web site.
Martin, a student at Ohio State University, and Merinar, a recent graduate of West Virginia University, are reporters for ThePalestra.com, a peer-to-peer Web site for college cultural content. The word "palestra" comes from Greek - it refers to a public place in ancient Greece used to athletic training. Monday morning, the students found themselves at Ahlgrims, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine - part of the Web site's Summer Tour Across America....
