Robert E. Stitt of Wheaton

Robert E. Stitt, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008. A memorial service will be planned at a later date at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton. Mr. Stitt was born Aug. 3, 1922. He was a captain in the USMCR with the VMF 111th 4th Airwing. He was a graduate of Glenbard High School, Class of 1940, and a graduate of Colgate University, Class of 1944, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Stitt was an insurance broker in the Chicagoland area for over 50 years. He also was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church In Wheaton for 56 years.
