Nestor P. Jovanovic of Grayslake

Memorial services for Nestor P. Jovanovic, 68, will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 19, at St. Sava Monastery in Libertyville. Born July 15, 1939, in Pancevo, Serbia, to Pavle and Ljubica, he passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2008, as a result of an auto accident.

In 1958, he graduated from Zion Benton High School in Zion, Ill., and later earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. From 1962 to 1964 he served in the Army and was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. He spent his entire professional career in the construction equipment industry, starting as an entry level engineer with International Harvester in 1967.
