Janet R. MacAdam of Lisle

A memorial service for Janet R. MacAdam, 80, formerly of Winfield for over 35 years, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately. Born Nov. 3, 1927, in Jackson, Mich., to W. Howard and Margaret Riley, she died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Central DuPage Hospital. Janet graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in nursing, later receiving her master's degree from Northern Illinois University. After practicing for several years, Jan joined the faculty of the College of DuPage, where she taught for the rest of her career, also serving as coordinator of the Nursing Program. As a...
