Lawrence M. Winski

The funeral for Lawrence M. Winski will begin at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, then proceed to St. Juliana Church for a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. He died suddenly from a heart attack. Mr. Winski was a member of the Army Reserves. He was a graduate of St. George High School and DePaul University. Mr. Winski was beloved by his many co-workers at Lutheran Social Services. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a lover of sports (wrestling) and the Three Stooges. Lawrence was the beloved son of Irene (nee Grobelny) and the late Chester; loving brother of Lucia (Ed) Gruszka and Cheryl (Rick)...
