J. Audley "Aud" Risley of Elgin A memorial service for J. Audley "Aud" Risley will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin, followed by a reception at the American Legion Hall on Liberty Street in Elgin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.

He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1940, and from Northern Illinois Teacher's College in 1947. He was a school teacher for a year before joining Bill Gavelek and Associates architecture firm.
