Steven C. Wilharm of Carpentersville Steven C. Wilharm, 57, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008. He was born in Elgin, Ill. and attended Elgin High School and the University of Houston, Texas. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn "Katie" of Elgin; brothers, Stanley (Laura) and Jeffrey, both of Elgin and Joseph of Schaumburg; one sister, Linda (Tim) Childers of South Elgin; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon. Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Johns Lutheran School of Elgin or a charity of choice.
