Charles "Chick" Saveley lifelong resident of Barrington
The visitation for Charles "Chick" Saveley, 80, will be from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7 p.m., Monday, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Burial will be private. Born Jan. 18, 1928, in Elmhurst, he passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Chick was a 1948 graduate of Barrington High School, where he excelled at basketball. Through the years, he worked for Jenson Pool of Barrington as a swimming pool installer and for Rieke Construction.
