Kenneth J. "Ken" Locher of Grayslake

Memorial services for Kenneth J. "Ken" Locher, 72, formerly of Wauconda and Palatine, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington, IL 60010. Father Alvin Johnson will officiate. Interment will be private. Born March 23, 1935, in Paterson, N.J., he died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at his home. A 1958 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Dairy Sciences, where he played football and was a member of Pershing Rifles Air Force R.O.T.C. Following graduation, he began working at Kraft Foods, where he retired from as an Operations Business Manager in 1992.
