James A. Beck of Gurnee Services for James A. Beck, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, with Rev. Millar officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Green Lake, Wis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m.

until the time of the services Thursday, at the funeral home. Born Oct. 19, 1938, he passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at LeHigh Memorial Hospital in LeHigh Acres, Fla. James completed an agricultural degree at Purdue and a master's of economics at Cornell University. He worked for IMC for 35 years and was a driving instructor for BMWCCA Driving School. He spent his retirement years traveling the country with Mary in his motor home, most recently spending the winter...
