Jacqueline Christine Chakoian Jacqueline Christine Chakoian (nee Meyer) was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Fort Supply, Ark., and passed into the life eternal on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 29, at 3:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest (Deerpath and Sheridan roads), with a reception to follow.

Born to Waldrew and Mary (nee Waddell) Meyer, she was raised in St. Louis and Augusta, Mo. She attended the University of Missouri and served in the Women's Army Corps as a medical laboratory technician in World War II. While stationed in Little Rock, Ark., she met Dr. Henry M. Chakoian, who was serving as a lieutenant in the Dental Corps. They married on May 3, 1947, and settled in Chicago, later moving to Mount Prospect,...
