E. Joseph "Joe" Cole A memorial service for E. Joseph "Joe" Cole, 77, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at First Presbyterian Church, 302 N. Dunton, Arlington Heights. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the church. Born Dec. 16, 1930, in Evanston, the son of the late Edward and Gladys Cole, he died Monday, Feb.

25, 2008, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, surrounded by family. Joe grew up in Park Ridge and graduated from Maine Township High School, where he met his wife. He went on to the University of Illinois, where he played football for the Rose Bowl Championship team and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He received a degree in business in 1952.
