Alyssa Ann Perna of Grayslake Alyssa Ann Perna, 20, was born Nov. 10, 1987, and passed away suddenly Sunday, March 9, 2008, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Alyssa graduated from Warren High School and was attending Southern Illinois University. Alyssa was a beautiful young woman with a big heart and fun/outgoing personality and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Wendy Perna (nee Smith), her father, Steve Perna and her sister and best friend, Lauren Perna, all of Grayslake; maternal grandparents, Edward and Ruth Smith of Sugar Grove; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Randy) Barkei, Jane Cherco, Julie (Kent) Phillips, Kari Perna, Matthew (Leah) Perna, Christopher (Stephanie) Perna, Adam Perna, Kevin (Laura) Smith and...
