Robert C. E. Carlson formerly of Deerfield for 38 years

Visitation for Robert C. E. Carlson, 82,will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church, 125 W. Church St., Libertyville. Interment will follow in the church columbarium. Born May 22, 1925, in Providence, R.I., he passed away Friday, March 14, 2008, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Mr. Carlson had also lived in Wildwood for 15 years. He was a past president of the Deerfield Rotary Club and former commodore of the Northshore Yacht Club in Highland Park. Mr. Carlson also enjoyed fishing and was a pilot, often flying to their summer home in Canada. He was a former member and sang in the choir at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church in Deerfield...
