U.S. Census Shows More Neighbors Moving to Dona Ana County, N.M.

Sep. 3--The greatest number of people moving to Dona Ana County aren't coming from a great distance, only as far as El Paso.

According to U.S. Census figures, more people from El Paso County are moving to Dona Ana County than those that are making the opposite move. Numbers from the 2000 Census show that 5,819 people from El Paso County moved to Las Cruces between 1995 and 2000.

By contrast, 3,992 Dona Ana County residents moved to El Paso County during the same time period.
