Personal Computer Executives Join Board of Bellevue, Wash.-Based Software Firm. (Originated from The Seattle Times)

Oct. 26--Two leading executives from the personal-computer world have joined the board of Timeline Inc. as the Bellevue-based software company prepares to capitalize on large corporations' move from mainframe to desktop computers.
Mike Hallman, former president of Microsoft, and Kent Johnson, the first president of PC-database provider Microrim, joined Timeline's board as the company announced it has raised $1.3 million in private stock to fund aggressive growth.
Timeline has in recent weeks added 10 employees for a total of 50 and will continue hiring, Johnson said.
Founded in 1977, Timeline specializes in accounting software for medium to large companies in the Fortune 2000 and larger range. It built its business on Digital Equipment Corp.'s...
