Jan. 18--The thought of triumphantly returning to Mexico as chief executive officer of her own company has Phoenix marketer Liz Topete- Stonefield eager to take part in a new government program.

The Minority Matchmaker program, commissioned by Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown, marks the first time the U.S. Department of Commerce actively has recruited minority and women-owned businesses to take part in government- sponsored fo reign trade missions.

The aim is to help minority-owned businesses make the contacts needed to enter international markets.

The first Minority Matchmaker mission took place last month at a trade show in Mexico City.

Because slots for the show were filled so rapidly, no Arizona company took part in the Mexico City expo....
