Blockbuster Assembles its Park Team, S. Florida Firms Picked to Lead. (Originated from The Miami Herald)

Aug. 10--Blockbuster Entertainment has named a design team of architects, engineers and planners to devise a master plan for Blockbuster Park, the sports and entertainment complex planned for Miramar and northwest Dade County.
Work on the plan began late last month and should be completed by the middle of next month, Blockbuster Park spokesman Tony Romero said Tuesday.
"Then, for the first time, we will truly be able to answer questions about where the components will be," Romero said.
Those components include two stadiums - one for baseball and one for hockey - a theme park, golf courses, sound stages and entertainment village.
