Jun. 25--When Byron Cooper started Promise Exclusive Car Detail some 16 months ago, his business plan was simple.
"We went after the very wealthy clientele," said Cooper, co-owner with his wife, Karen, of the booming auto detail business at 2608 E. 11th St.
"We knew that those individuals own expensive automobiles like Mercedes, Jaguars, Porsches and Lincoln Town Cars, and in some cases own two or three of them.
"And, they expect first-class workmanship." The Coopers, devout Christians, knew that any business approach they selected had to "be built on integrity."
"That's how we chose the name," he said. "Promise means integrity and Exclusive means quality.
