FORT WAYNE, Ind.--July 18--Lutheran Hospital's chief executive officer will get a new job when the Fort Wayne facility is sold. Frederick H. Kerr, who has served as the hospital's top administrator since January 1986, will become vice president of development-Midwest for the facility's new owner, Quorum Health Group.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based hospital management company will add Lutheran to its chain of hospitals later this month. Lutheran, 7950 W. Jefferson Blvd., has 418 beds and employs about 2,000 workers.

"They own hospitals, manage hospitals and do consulting. I would be involved in trying to match hospitals with Quorum and vice versa in all three of those types of relationships," Kerr said.
