Bell Atlantic Offers Enhanced Caller ID in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.(Originated from Philadelphia Daily News)

Sept. 12--You've ordered Bell Atlantic's "Caller-ID" service and you love it. The phone rings and instantly the caller's phone number displays in a little window on your ID-compatible phone.
Now, Pennsylvania and New Jersey customers of Bell Atlantic can upgrade that service to include a display of the caller's name as well.
The enhancement, Caller-ID Deluxe, shows the name as it appears on a customer's telephone account, last name first. For example, a call from the John Smith household would show "Smith John" along with the Smiths' telephone number.
If the call is not answered, the caller's name and number would be held in memory to be accessed later.
