Two Bakersfield, Calif., Real Estate Firms Team Up.(Originated from The Bakersfield Californian)

Dec. 9--Two commercial real estate firms in Bakersfield are joining forces. JT Andrew & Associates, owned by Jeffrey T. Andrew, has been acquired by CB Commercial and will fold into the Bakersfield office. Los Angeles-based CB Commercial is the nation's largest commercial real estate brokerage firm.
The goal of the acquisition is to give the company a stronger position in a competitive marketplace as well as to improve customer services.
"We've been trying to attract Jeff for quite some time," said Pat Collins, who at the same time announced his promotion to senior vice president and managing officer of the CB Commercial office in Bakersfield. Collins has been in sales with CB Commercial for more than 15 years.
