Florida Citrus Department Selects Ad Agency Finalists.(Originated from St. Petersburg Times, Fla.)

TAMPA, Fla.--Jan. 18--WestGroup Inc. is in the running for a juicy account.
Wednesday, the Tampa advertising agency was selected as one of four finalists for the Florida Department of Citrus' $27 million orange and grapefruit advertising account.
The Citrus Department will announce a winner Feb. 20.
WestGroup, the only Florida agency still in the running, is in highbrow advertising company. It will compete against Dallas-based Richards Group and two New York agencies, Ammirati & Puris/Lintas and Grey Advertising.
"Once again this is validation that the larger and more professional Florida firms are effectively competing with their larger New York counterparts," said Ben West of WestGroup.
