ATLANTA--Mar. 2--CLOUDY OUTLOOK LOWERS SCIENTIFIC GAMES 15: Shares of Scientific Games Holding (ticker symbol SGIH) plunged 15 percent Friday after the manufacturer of scratch-off lottery tickets warned first- quarter earnings would drop below year-ago levels. The shares closed down $4.50 to $25.50 in heavy Nasdaq trading. The price was down as much as $6.12 1/2 at one point. The Alpharetta-based company blamed the shortfall on delays in large customer orders and changes in clients' marketing plans. Scientific Games earned 38 cents per share on sales of $35.1 million in the first quarter of fiscal 1995.
