RIVERSIDE, Calif.--Apr. 10--Looking back on a lifetime in the printing business, Jim Dale is watching as a new generation takes over.
He walks past the presses inside The A to Z Printing Co. and doesn't recognize as many of the accounts as he used to.
"The jobs that are ours?" he asks. "Fewer and fewer."
Jim, Eben and Francis, the Dale brothers who have run A to Z since the death of their father in 1964, are making way for Francis' daughters, Allison and Leslie.
The brothers still come in once in a while to take care of long-time customers, but more and more it's orders landed by the sisters that keep the presses running.
Keeping it in the family is a tradition at the small printing company, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year....
