Construction Begins on Office Max, Circuit City Stores in Wichita, Kan.(Originated from The Wichita Eagle, Kan.)

May 31--Construction has begun on a new Office Max office supply store and a Circuit City electronics superstore in the Westgate shopping center.
Both stores will be housed in an extension of the Kohl's Department Store building at 6900 W. Kellogg. They are expected to open in late fall, said Mike Boyd, broker with Walter Morris and Son.
The 30,500-square-foot Office Max, Wichita's third, will devote at least 5,000 square feet of space to Furniture Max a division of the company that carries an expanded selection of office furniture, said Juris Pagrabs, spokesman for the Cleveland, Ohio-based company.
Furniture Max carries higher-end desks, credenzas, file cabinets and portable office dividers, Pagrabs said. Manufacturers include Hon, Lazy Boy and...
