Jun. 5--The phone company still wants fingers walking all over The Yellow Pages but hopes people also try grabbing computer mouses and keyboards to scan its new World Wide Web directories.
Colorado-based US West Marketing Resources Tuesday presented its new Internet Yellow Pages, an information-packed home page accessible by anyone capable of cruising cyberspace.
Along with yellow pages for Salt Lake City businesses and white-pages residential listings, the online directory includes listings for 39 other metropolitan areas -- in more than 1,000 communities in US West's 14-state service area.
