Jul. 3--The waist is too big. There's no room in the seat. And if you have hips, forget it.
Sometimes, jeans and women just don't fit.
Enter Levi Strauss & Co. The granddaddy of jeans is bringing its custom-made denims to Orange County.
The San Francisco-based company will open its first California Original Levi's Store in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa today.
Alongside a slew of jeans and shirts will be Personal Pair -- the company's answer to women's often-unsatisfied demand for a perfect-fitting pair of jeans.
"It breaks all the paradigms of how women perceive jeans," says Annette Lim, marketing manager of Levi's Only Stores.
