New-Car Dealers Line Up on Bradenton, Fla., Street.(Originated from The Bradenton Herald, Fla.)

BRADENTON, Fla.--Aug. 2--Fourteenth Street has turned into Automobile Row for Manatee County car dealers.
Already Gettel Toyota-Kia has found a new home on the thoroughfare also known as U.S. 41.
Tropical Pontiac-Cadillac and Saturn of Manatee, who now reside downtown, plan to move there by November 1997.
Other 14th Street new-car dealers include Honda Cars of Bradenton; Alex Karras Lincoln Mercury; Bill Graham Ford; Jim Boast Dodge Volkswagen; and Hoagland Oldsmobile-GMC Truck.
The downtown area was the place to be for dealerships a couple of decades ago, but slowly the market shifted and dealers left.
That left Tropical and Saturn alone, which, in the car sales industry, can spell certain doom, said some local sales managers....
