San Antonio-Based Play-By-Play to Distribute Warner Bros. Toys in Europe.(Originated from San Antonio Express-News)

Aug. 13--Play-By-Play Toys & Novelties Inc. has signed an agreement with a Warner Bros. Entertainment Co. subsidiary to distribute stuffed toys in Europe for the amusement market, the San Antonio-based firm announced Monday.
Terms of the multi-year licensing agreement were unavailable. However, Juanita Lozano, chief financial officer, said Western European operations last year accounted for about 10 percent of Play-by-Play's $50 million in total sales.
Play-By-Play's European subsidiary operates an office, showroom and distribution facility in Valencia, Spain.
Shipments under the new amusement license are to begin immediately, with toys based on the Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs characters.
