Hotel Construction Leads Development in Tulsa.(Originated from Tulsa World, Okla.)

Sep. 24--A $3 million hotel leads development plans at 31st Street and Memorial Drive.
City of Tulsa building permits have been sought for some of the five new hotels and two new restaurants planned for a site bought in June 1995 by longtime Tulsa investor Robert C. Poe, according to his associate Phil Tomlinson.
Studio Plus Hotels Inc., at 7901 E. 31st Court, is the first hotel to begin construction. It will be three stories with 73 suites, said Rick Bubenhofer of Kentucky-based Studio Plus.
"We cater to individuals who need a place of lodging from seven days to several weeks to several months," he said.
The suites will have full-size kitchens.
