Lucent Technologies Opens New Jersey Products Facility.(Originated from Asbury Park Press, N.J.)

EATONTOWN, N.J.--Nov. 12--Lucent Technologies Inc. is establishing a consumer products facility here that will employ between 300 and 350 workers, a real estate executive familiar with the project said yesterday.

The company, which was recently spun off by AT&T Corp., started moving into about 97,000 square feet at 246 Industrial Way West on Sept. 1, said Steven Schultz, president of Schultz Management Services Group in Woodbridge Township, which manages the building.

The company has signed a five-year lease and is renovating the Eatontown Office Park building for use as an office, research and manufacturing facility, Schultz said.
