Texas Commerce Bank Picks San Antonio Regional President.(Originated from San Antonio Express-News)

Jan. 30--Texas Commerce Bank in San Antonio on Wednesday appointed Lori Vetters as president of the bank's San Antonio region.
Texas Commerce Bank, which has 124 Texas locations, five in San Antonio, and total assets of $23 billion, is part of Chase Manhattan Corp., whose $336 billion in assets makes it the nation's largest banking organization.
Vetters, who will become San Antonio's only woman bank president, will replace outgoing president Al Martinez-Fonts. Last week he was named chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Texas Commerce Bank in El Paso.
A 12-year veteran of the banking industry, Vetters most recently was a client executive in Chase's Oil and Gas Group in Houston.
