Atlantic City, N.J., Woman Refuses to Sell Property to Trump.(Originated from The Philadelphia Inquirer)

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--Apr. 3--This time Donald Trump wasn't here to face off with Vera Coking, the woman who continues to refuse to sell her rooming house to him.

Doing Trump's work, Coking's lawyer Glenn Z. Zeitz alleged, was city building inspector James Herzog. "A barking dog for the Trump organization" is how Zeitz described Herzog Wednesday.

Welcome to the latest episode in the long-running battle for ownership of Coking's three-story property, which sits in the shadow of Trump Plaza and to many has become a defiant famous eyesore in a neighborhood of flashy casinos.

Trump has called it "a tremendous blight to Atlantic City." He wants the site to expand the Plaza.
