Boston Agency Debuts Advanced Micro Devices' Ad.(Originated from The Boston Globe)

Apr. 11--On the day it announced some new managers for its $100 million direct-marketing operation, Boston agency Hill Holliday Connors Cosmopulos yesterday unveiled the TV ad that will launch a widely awaited new product from Advanced Micro Devices.

Advanced Micro Devices, of Sunnyvale, Calif., is out to challenge Intel Corp.'s Pentium with its new K6 MMX processor and an ad campaign from Hill Holliday.

According to Advanced Micro Devices, the K6 MMX processor is "the most awesome engine ever made" for personal computers that use Microsoft's Windows operating system.

Not only is the K6 MMX awesome, it's also 25 percent cheaper than Intel's Pentium, Advanced Micro Devices claims.
