Whistleblowers Sue Johnson & Johnson over Dismissals.(Originated from The Star-Ledger, Newark, N.J.)

May 16--Three former Johnson & Johnson employees say they were fired for complaining that quality control procedures were deliberately ignored at a factory that makes a best-selling medical device, according to a lawsuit.

The charges come on the heels of a stern warning from the Food and Drug Administration, which rebuked Johnson & Johnson for improperly documenting product complaints and for violating quality assurance methods in producing its coronary stent. The device is made at a manufacturing plant in Warren.

Although the suit doesn't mention the FDA admonishment, lawyers for the former employees say two of their clients have spoken with the agency's investigators in recent months concerning Johnson & Johnson's quality control practices....
