Gateway 2000 to Include DVD Drives in Its Destination TV/PCs.(Originated from Omaha World-Herald, Neb.)

Jun. 19--When it comes to home-entertainment, most people think movie videos.

Others say computer games and buy CD-ROMs.

Some prefer laser discs.

Now the entertainment and computer industries have come up with what they say is a better way to watch movies and play games.

Its called Digital Versatile Disc, or DVD, and promises to deliver crystal clear digital audio and video.

Gateway 2000 Inc. of North Sioux City, S.D., hopes to be among the first to promote this new home-entertainment medium by incorporating the technology in its Destination TV/PCs, the company's big-screen combination personal computer and television.
