Abercrombie & Fitch Opens Lawrence, Kan., Store.(Originated from Journal-World, Lawrence, Kan.)

LAWRENCE, Kan.--Aug. 7--Abercrombie & Fitch opened for business this week at 645 Mass., just a few days after its proposed opening date of July 31.
Manager Charlie Armstrong said the delay was due to completion of the sidewalk and parking lot.
"Gene Fritzel (the construction company) was meticulous and wanted to get everything completed before we opened," Armstrong said.
The 7,476-square-foot store carries casual lifestyle clothing for men and women.
"We're actually targeting college students," Armstrong said. "It's casual clothes that are fun and spirited."
Armstrong transferred to Lawrence from an Abercrombie & Fitch store in Omaha, Neb., where he was the men's department manager.
