Oct. 3--As the U.S. population matures, companies are creating new products and services to meet changing consumer demands.
Housing projects are no different.
New housing trends already are being seen in Kern County, where projects are being designed for the aging population.
As this week marked ground-breaking for the 400-bed Glenwood Gardens mixed-use adult project, a Salem, Ore. company prepares to break ground on another adult-living project.
The new projects are in addition to several already existing in the community, such as Rosewood Retirement Community.
