Arlie to Buy Land Parcel near Hyundai in West Eugene, Ore.(Originated from The Register-Guard, Eugene, Ore.)

Nov. 6--A Cottage Grove real estate investment firm is the latest contestant to enter the land acquisition game near Hyundai in west Eugene.
Arlie Land and Cattle Co. has bought options that give it control over a high-profile seven-acre parcel at West 11th Avenue and Willow Creek Road -- about a half-mile north of the Hyundai plant -- and 36 acres off Gimpl Hill Road -- about a mile south of the plant. The seven acres are zoned for industrial development. The 36 acres are zoned for forest use.
Arlie will exercise the purchase options, said John Musumeci, the company's land acquisitions manager. But Musumeci wouldn't say what Arlie plans for the sites. The company already owns about $1.4 million worth of real estate in Lane County, according...
